At the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, Matilde Cigars showcased the latest installment of its Limited Exposure series, the 6 x 42 Matilde Limited Exposure No. 1 Lonsdale. The cigar has already shipped to retailers.
The Limited Exposure series is a series of limited production offerings that are produced on a periodic basis in small batches. The Matilde Limited Exposure No. 1 was launched at the 2021 PCA Trade Show and made its debut in a Toro size. Earlier this year, the Matilde Limited Exposure No. 2 made its debut also in a Toro size. Matilde is planning a Matilde Limited Exposure No. 3 next year.
The Matilde Limited Exposure No. 1 Lonsdale is the second size in the No. 1 line. The plan is to rotate through a release of the No. 1, No 2, and No. 3 blends every 18 months in a different size.
As for the blend, the Matilde Limited Exposure No. 1 features a Mexican Wrapper over all-Dominican tobaccos. It will be presented in 20-count boxes. Pricing is set at $8.75 per cigar. Distribution is handled through Sutliff Tobacco.
