Quesada Cigars has announced the return of the Quesada Holiday Keg. This is a project that was first released in 2016 and meant to coincide with the end of year holidays.
The 2022 edition of the Holiday Keg features a different blend. Most notably the wrapper has been changed from Dominican Corojo to Ecuadorian Habano 2000. The binder is Dominican and fillers are Dominican and Nicaragua. They will be packaged in ten-count kegs with a total production of 500 kegs. Pricing is set at $119.00 per keg.
“It’s been a while since last time we presented this fun project, a cigar meant for the holidays and the great spirit of the season. Featuring the same profile of smoke, changing the wrapper to Habano 2000 and new vintages in binder and fillers in the same size, a classic toro 6 x 50,” commented Manuel Quesada, President of Quesada Cigars, in a press release.
Raquel Quesada added: “it’s always fun to create new blends, but as well as reviving old ones. The challenge of overlapping vintages, looking for the same profile and intensity, and remembering the smoke as the original. Everyone will love this edition, it’s a great cigar.”
Plans are for the Quesada Holiday Keg 2022 to begin shipping in November.
