The mid-week evening gala at Festival del Habano XXIII saw Bolívar brand as the featured brand, and this year Habanos S.A. showcased the Bolívar New Gold Medal. This is a cigar that will be an exclusive for the 157 La Casa del Habano (LCDH) franchises worldwide

The Bolívar New Gold Medal is a 48 x 165 mm (48 x 6 1/2) vitola. Like the other Bolívar Gold Medals, the upper portion of the cigar is foil wrapped with a band on the center of the cigar. The New Gold Medal is presented in ten-count boxes.

In a press release, José María López Inchaurbe, Habanos’ Vice President of Development commented, “A night as special as this is the perfect setting to pay tribute to one of our most historic brands, produced entirely by hand and with long filler, and with 121 years of history: our Bolívar brand. I would also like to thank and acknowledge all the work and effort of all the Franchisees, Distributors and the Management of Casa del Habano for exceeding all expectations, even in the midst of the uncertainty of the pandemic.”

Festival del Habano XXIII is taking place from February 27, 2023, through March 3, 2023.
