A cigar that was a bit of a mystery at the 2022 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show is now getting a launch at the 2023 Trade Show. This week Arturo Fuente announced details on the long-awaited Don Carlos Arturo Fuente Eye of the Bull.
The Don Carlos Eye of the Bull is a 3 1/2 x 55 extension to the Don Carlos line. The Don Carlos line is named for the late legendary cigar-maker, Carlos Fuente Sr. The cigar consists of a Cameroon wrapper over all Dominican tobaccos. One unique feature is a “bullseye” built into the cap – which is actually a circular piece of tobacco with a darker color.
The cigars will be packaged in 20-count boxes – pricing is set at $12.80 per cigar. This is a release that will be a 2023 PCA Trade Show Exclusive – only available to retailers who attend the 2023 Trade Show.
The Eye of the Bull first made an appearance in the Arturo Fuente booth at the 2022 Trade Show. The company was not taking orders on the cigar and at the time was not commenting on whether the cigar would be released or not.
