Epic Cigars has announced a cigar for Oscar-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri. It’s titled A Bronx Tale by Chazz Palmintieri and it’s named for the highly acclaimed play turned motion picture A Bronx Tale. The play was written by Palminteri and he starred in it. The play also went on to be adapted into a motion picture. Keeping to the spirit of A Bronx Tale, Epic Cigars has teamed up with Paul DiSilvio of La Casa Grande Tobacco Company located in the Bronx to produce the cigar.

In a press release, Epic Cigars says Mr. Palminteri has dedicated this cigar to his grandfather, Calogero, and to all hardworking families who came to the United States to establish a better life.

The cigar itself comes in one size – a 6 x 54 box-pressed Toro. The blend incorporates a Cuban seed Ecuadoianr Habano wrapper, Dominican binder, and a combination of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

The new cigar will have a launch at a private ticketed event being held June 28, 2023, at the La Casa Grande cigar store with Palminteri present. The cigar will also be showcased at the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show which opens on July 7, 2023. Palminteri will be in attendance at the Zander-Greg booth (parent company of Epic Cigars). Retailers will be able to order the cigars and will have a chance to meet Palminteri and get a signed poster.

Epic Cigars is the brand founded by Dean Parsons. Zander-Greg acquired the brand from Parsons in 2019. As a part of the acquisition, Parsons joined the Zander-Greg team.
