La Palina Cigars introduced its Mr. Sam line into its portfolio ten years ago. At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, La Palina introduced a fifth size to Mr. Sam in the form of a 7 5/8 x 49 Double Corona.

Mr. Sam is a nod to the original founder of the La Palina cigar brand, Samuel Paley. The cigar is produced in Miami at El Titan de Bronze. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. The cigars will be presented in 20-count boxes.

The last time the Mr. Sam saw a new addition was back in 2016.
