Miami Cigar and Company has announced that they are preparing to ship the Nestor Miranda NM80. The cigar commemorates the 80th birthday of company co-founder Nestor Miranda.
The NM80 was showcased at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show this past summer. It’s a Nicaraguan puro that was developed by Miami Cigar & Company Vice President (and Nestor’s son-in-law) Jason Wood and the My Father Cigars factory. NM80 is a Nicaraguan puro blended with Nestor’s palate in mind. NM80 comes in three vitolas that are not only signature vitolas for the Nestor Miranda brand but also favorites of Nestor himself. The cigar comes in three signature vitolas, which are favorites of Nestor himself: Ruky (5 5/8 x 48-52, Figurado- $18.00 MSRP/cigar), Lancero (7 1/2 x 38 – $19.00 MSRP/cigar), and Danno (7 x 56 –$20.00 MSRP/cigar).
In addition, Miami Cigar and Company is hosting a celebratory birthday event to launch the NM80. The event is a sit-down, five-course dinner by “Certified Angus Beef Chef of the Year” Carla DiLorenzo and includes a tasting of Balvenie 14. The dinner will take place on February 8, 2024, at 7:00 pm. City Cigar Lounge is at 41 NW 2nd St, Miami, FL 33128. The event also features Argentine open-fire cooking. Guests will also take home a box of the NM80 ($200 value) and a bottle of Balvenie 14 ($85 value). Tickets are on sale at Eventbrite or by calling the restaurant.
