At the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, HVC Cigars will launch the HVC Selección No. 1 Connecticut. This will be the third blend under the HVC Selección No. 1 line.
HVC Selección No. 1 launched in 2022 with the Maduro release. The line got its name due to the fact it was the first new blend created under HVC Cigars’ own factory, Fabrica de Tabaccos HVC, SA. This was followed in 2023 with the release of the HVC Selección No. 1, a Habano-wrapped offering. As the name indicates, the HVC Selección No. 1 Connecticut adds an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade offering.
In addition to the Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, the Selección No 1 Connecticut features all Nicaraguan tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí for the binder and filler. The cigar is being launched in three sizes, which are consistent with the sizes in the Maduro and Natural line. Each is presented in 20-count boxes. The HVC Selección No. 1 is priced between $9.00 and $10.50.
The PCA Trade Show opens on March 23, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The HVC Selección No 1 Connecticut is expected to ship in April.
