Tabacalera Familia Disla S.A, the factory owned by Esteban Disla and Daniel Lance has announced that Raul Disla and Kevin Baxter have joined the team. Raul is the brother of Esteban Disla and best known for his association with the NACSA factory. Baxter is best known for his involvement of the launch of Asylum Cigars. The trio of the Disla brothers and Baxter is the launch of a new collaborative platform dubbed as “The Residency “.
The concept behind “The Residency” is to provide a collaborative environment for master blenders under the umbrella of Tabacalera Familia Disla S.A.

Raul Disla comes to Tabacalera Familia Disla S.A. with over 40 years of experience. He has worked on blends with companies such as Patina, Dapper, and Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust. His journey in tobacco began at the age of seven in the Dominican Republic. Raul’s blending skills were developed under the mentorship of industry legends like Sergio Cuevas.
In addition to his work in the launch of Asylum, Kevin Baxter comes with 20 years blending experience. Baxter has also garnered a reputation as a “ghost blender” brands. Kevin’s background also includes time in the Marine Corp, serving as a technologist, and master tobacconist. Plans are also in the works to develop a brand for Baxter.
Earlier this year, Tabacalera Familia Disla S.A. launched its own cigar brand, Domain Cigars.
Each Residency master is available for collaboration on projects with third parties. A Residency seal will be put on a box of alongside the stamp of Tabacalera Familia Disla.
