Altadis U.S.A. has announced the return of the H. Upmann Banker Ingot, a limited-edition extension to the H. Upmann Banker line. It’s the first Ingot release for H. Upmann in over seven years.
An ingot is a gold bar, and the packaging theme is a gold brick. Produced at Tabacalera de Garcia in La Romana, Dominican Republic, the Banker Ingot features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. This is an all-new blend and size for the Ingot. The cigar comes in one size – a 7 x 56 vitola known as Arbitrage. A total of 5,000 12-count boxes were produced. Pricing comes in at $15.00 SRP/cigar or $180.00 SRP/box.
“Each H. Upmann Banker is a testament to the 180+ years of the brand and exemplifies our commitment to exceptional taste and innovation,” said Gabe Diaz, brand manager for Altadis U.S.A., in a press release. “This new offering provides a unique smoking experience that reflects the spirit of today’s discerning cigar connoisseurs, just how the Upmann brothers would have wanted it. We are proud to celebrate the H. Upmann legacy while continuously pushing the boundaries of excellence. With H. Upmann Banker Ingot we offer consumers not just the experience of an iconic brand, but an investment in quality and craftsmanship.”
