In an email to retailers today, Carlito Fuente of Arturo Fuente announced that he is releasing the OpusX 2020—sometimes referred to as the OpusX Dubai—for the U.S. market one time only.

“In gratitude for your unwavering support during the year as an authorized Fuente Fuente OpusX retailer, and to bring our fans to your store, we are releasing some extremely rare and unique cigars. The Fuente Fuente OpusX 2020, also known by aficionados as the “OpusX Dubai,” will be a very special treat for your customers. This is the one and only time I think we will release these cigars in the United States,” commented Carlos “Carlito” Fuente in a letter to retailers.

OpusX 2020 made its debut at the Expo Universelle Dubai 2020 (World Expo). It then became an exclusive to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) – each presented in 20-count boxes.

Arturo Fuente has not explicitly shared quantities, sizes, and pricing information. In the past the OpusX 2020 has been released in three sizes: Arena d’Amor (5 x 52), Sol d’Amor (6 x 55), and Viento d’Amor (6 x 58). The OpusX 2020 is a Dominican puro that is different from the other blends in the OpusX brand.
