Today, we examine the contents of the 2024 Smoke Inn Advent calendar for day 12. Warning: spoiler alert.
An Advent calendar counts down the days until Christmas. This tradition is believed to have originated with the German Lutherans. The calendar features moveable parts, such as flaps, doors, or pockets, that reveal a daily surprise. In 2021, Smoke Inn released its first Advent calendar, where the “surprise” is a different cigar daily. For the first time since 2021, Smoke Inn has redesigned the packaging.
Today’s reveal is the Camacho Triple Maduro Robusto, which was first introduced in 2007 when the Eiroa family still owned Camacho. The cigar gets its name from using maduro tobaccos for the wrapper, binder, and filler. The blend consists of five different tobaccos. When Davidoff acquired Camacho, the Triple Maduro carried over. It remains part of the portfolio but was repackaged when Camacho was revamped in 2013.
