Forged Cigar Company has added a 7 x 48 Churchill size to its El Rey del Mundo Shade line. The new size is slated to ship to retailers beginning February 3, 2025.
This new size becomes the third regular production size to join the El Rey del Mundo Shade lineup. El Rey del Mundo Shade Grown is highlighted by a Connecticut Shade wrapper grown in the Talanga Valley of Honduras. The remainder of the blend consists of a binder grown in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras and Honduran-grown fillers from Copan and Jamastran. Production comes from the HATSA factory in Honduras.
In a press release, Ed Lahmann, Senior Brand Manager for El Rey del Mundo, said, “We’re pleased to expand the Shade Grown line with a classic Churchill size. Shade Grown delivers a remarkable smoking experience at a compelling price point, and we know fans will love how the blend performs with this new frontmark.”
Pricing comes in at $6.89 per cigar for the Shade Churchill. At a glance, here is a look at the El Rey del Mundo Shade line:
