Aladino Candela 2025

JRE Tobacco Co has announced the Aladino Candela Toro is returning for a 2025 run.

Candela is a tobacco that is widely associated with company patriarch Julio R. Eiroa. Back in the 1980s and 1990s, the candela wrapper was the dominant wrapper in the industry, and Eiroa was the largest grower of that wrapper.  He is associated with blends associated with this wrapper, most notably while he owned Camacho Cigars.

In 2023, JRE released the Aladino Candela in a Robusto size for a single batch run. Last year the Aladino Candela returned for a single run, but this time in a 50 x 6 Toro. The same size Toro returns for 2025 for a single run. The cigars come in 20-count red-colored boxes. Production comes from Fabrica de Puros Aladino located in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. Pricing is the same as last year – $10.50 SRP per cigar.  Like in 2024, the Robusto size of the Aladino Candela has not been re-released.

JRE Tobacco says beyond 2025, the Aladino Candela will remain a seasonal limited release in time for St. Patrick’s Day. The 2025 Aladino Candela Toro is currently shipping to retailers nationwide.
