General Cigar has announced that Punch Rare Corojo will now be a regular production offering. In addition, a limited edition of Rare Corojo size will be released in 2025 and called El Gordo. El Gordo is a box-pressed 6 x 60 offering.
In a press release, Punch brand manager Scott Abney said, “For years, Punch fans have clamored for more Rare Corojo, and we’re excited to deliver it to them as a regular-production line. The classic blend will be available across nine frontmarks and the limited-edition Box Pressed El Gordo for 2025. You’ve waited patiently for this day to arrive; now it’s time to celebrate with a Rare Corojo or two.”
