Ninth Annual Daniel Marshall Kitzbühel Campfire

Daniel Marshall’s ninth annual Kitzbühel Campfire took place last month in Kitzbühel, Austria. The event coincided with the famed Hahnenkamm-Rennen Ski competition. Held the weekend of January 25, 2025, the Campfire took place at the Daniel Marshall Cigar Lounge within the luxurious Kitzbühel Country Club. The Kitzbühel Campfire has been a signature event for Daniel Marshall, and this year’s lineup was no exception. Once again, actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger was in attendance.

On Thursday evening, January 23rd, Schwarzenegger attended the Special Dinner for Climate Action. Legendary auctioneer Simon de Pury auctioned two Daniel Marshall humidors at the dinner. The humidors auctioned were a rare (numbered 2/2) 80th Anniversary Kitzbühel Commemorative Humidor and a Terminator Ceramic Cigar Humidor. The Kitzbuhel humidor features the names of all of the Hahnenkamm-Rennen Downhill Ski Race Champions.

Both humidors came filled with DM Red Label Cigars. The auction raised 50,000 Euros for the supporting foundation. De Pury also sold a Paul Gauguin painting for USD 210 Million in 2015.

On Saturday, the actual 9th Annual “Kitzbuhel Campfire” took place. One hundred fifty guests that attended savored the DM Red Label “Papa Joe” Cigar and vintage casks of Balvenie and Glenfiddich. The event took place on the Tented Terrace. Both Daniel Marshall and Richard Hauser, the owner of the country club, worked a full year to create never-seen-before tented and heated outdoor spaces. The previous year’s event had resulted in a -35 C windchill, so this year, Marshall and Hauser had a setup featuring 30 heaters and blowers to create ideal comfortable conditions.
