AJ Fernandez Cigars has been informing retailers of a new addition to the Enclave brand, the Enclave by Eladio Diaz. As the name indicates, it’s a collaboration project between AJ Fernandez and Dominican master blender Eladio Diaz. It’s also a cigar produced in the Dominican Republic at Diaz’s factory, Tabacalera Diaz-Cabrera.
The blend for the Enclave by Eladio Diaz features 100% Dominican fillers. The cigar is finished with an Ecuadorian binder and a Corojo ’99 wrapper. The line comes in three sizes: Robusto (5 1/2 x 54, SRP $9.00/cigar), Toro (6 x 54, SRP $9.50/cigar), and Gordo (6 x 60, SRP $10.00/cigar). Each size comes in 20-count boxes.
Smoke Inn, a retailer in South Florida, received a shipment of the Enclave by Eladio Diaz in February. Other retailers have also reported being notified about this cigar. The new Enclave line is expected to be showcased at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show in New Orleans, Louisiana, on April 12.
This is the second time the Nicaragua-based AJ Fernandez has teamed up with a Dominican Master Blender and his factory. In 2019, Fernandez teamed up with Jochy Blanco for the San Lotano Dominicano – a cigar produced out of Blanco’s factory.
