It’s Episode 52 of Let’s Get Pairing (LGP)! Tonight, the boys tackle pairings with the Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H. – aka the “Don Pepin Red Label.”
E.R.H stands for El Rey de Los Habanos. This is named after the factory in Little Havana, Miami, where Don Pepin Garcia started out. The El Rey de Los Habanos line was released in Miami in 2005 and discontinued around 2011. In 2014, a new version was introduced as an exclusive cigar for The Pipe and Pint in Greensboro, North Carolina. What was El Rey de Los Habanos has been rebranded as E.R.H. It is also now branded with the Don Pepin Garcia logo but keeps the line’s red band color. This is similar to what was done with Vegas Cubanas when it was rebranded.
Produced in Nicaragua, the Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H. now features a Sumatra Rosado wrapper. The remainder of the blend is Nicaraguan tobaccos from Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa. It is available in three sizes, each presented in ten-count boxes: Robusto (5 x 54), Toro (6 x 52), and Toro Gordo (6 x 60).
Let’s Get Pairing Episode 52 with Don Pepin Garcia E.R.H. will air live on the Let’s Get Pairing Facebook page at 8 p.m. ET on April 27. You can also use the link to view on demand.
