Davidoff Shutting Down Flagship Stores

Davidoff of Geneva has announced it is shutting down its River Oaks, Houston, and Brookfield Place, New York, flagship stores. Both stores will remain open until September 2025.

Davidoff says that the company strategically decided not to renew certain leases after conducting a thorough review. Instead, the focus will shift to its growth strategy, which aims to optimize its global retail presence by emphasizing key flagship locations and enhancing digital and personalized shopping experiences.

River Oaks was opened in 2016, while Brookfield Place opened in 2015. Brookfield Place is located in the financial district of Lower Manhattan. While Brookfield Place is shutting down, the company is expanding its Madison Avenue Flagship store in midtown Manhattan.

“Both our River Oaks and Brookfield Place stores have been a treasured location for our valued clients. While we have made a difficult decision to close these two locations, we remain dedicated to serving our customers at our 6th Avenue, NYC location, and our newly renovated Madison Avenue, NYC store which will reopen in Summer this year. We also welcome our customers to shop with us online at DavidoffGeneva.com. We sincerely appreciate the dedication and contributions of the River Oaks and Brookfield teams and extend our heartfelt gratitude to our patrons for their loyalty and support,” says Lana Fraser, Head of Marketing and Retail at Davidoff of Geneva USA, in a press release.

Flagship stores are company-owned stores by Davidoff of Geneva.
