Montecristo was one of many brands being showcased by Altadis U.S.A. at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. The year 2025 marks the 90th anniversary of the Montecristo brand, a milestone that coincides with the celebrations of its sibling brand, Romeo y Julieta. To avoid overlapping festivities, Altadis U.S.A. has chosen to concentrate on Romeo y Julieta’s remarkable 150th anniversary at PCA 2025. Nonetheless, Montecristo will have its moment in the spotlight later in 2025. In the meantime, Montecristo isn’t being overlooked. Altadis has recently unveiled its latest prominent release, the Montecristo M, along with a few special editions, including the Montecristo White Series Diadema and the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Heirloom Ceramic Jar.
Montecristo M
The Montecristo M is produced in Nicaragua by AJ Fernandez. It’s a cigar that features all Nicaraguan tobaccos for the binder and filler. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Connecticut, grown by A.S.P. Enterprises. Altadis U.S.A. reports the wrapper has been aged for 20 years. Because of the aging required for the wrapper, the Montecristo M will be produced in limited quantities.
The M is presented in 20-count boxes and four sizes, but the Toro size is also available in five-packs.

Montecristo White Series Diadema
Montecristo White Series is getting a 5 2 x 6 Diadema size. The Montecristo White Diadema will be offered in ten and 20-count boxes. Pricing is $22.50 per cigar.
Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Heirloom Ceramic Jar
Altadis U.S.A. introduced the Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Nicaragua Heirloom Ceramic Jar. It’s a special, limited-edition commemorative jar containing ten Montecristo 1935 Anniversary No. 2 (52 x 6 1/8) cigars. The jar can also be reused as a personal humidor, housing up to 20 Churchill-sized cigars. Pricing for each unit is $255.00 SRP.
While not shown, a Montecristo 1935 Anniversary Diamante Heirloom Ceramic Jar will also be sold exclusively at Casa de Montecristo retail locations.
