PCA 2025 El Mago Cigars

The 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show was the second for Nick Fusco and El Mago Cigars. El Mago’s story has been well-documented. Fusco created the cigar company as a tribute to his grandparents, Maria and Gonzalo Torre. Both tragically died together on June 24, 2021, in Miami, Florida, when their building, The Champlain Towers, suddenly collapsed in the middle of the night. When he established the company, Nick became the youngest owner of a premium cigar company at age 23. El Mago is a company that has gained a lot of momentum and has landed in several key retailers quite quickly. At this year’s PCA,  El Mago added a new core line and is taking on a line of flavored cigars to distribute.

El Mago Jaguar

The Jaguar is another tribute to his grandparents, as it was the car his grandmother used to drive. In addition, Nick’s grandfather would light his cigars with the cigarette lighter in the car.  Last year, El Mago launched a limited edition cigar called Solstice, which featured a Sumatra wrapper. Now that the production run for Solstice has ended, Fusco wanted a regular production Sumatra offering. The new cigar, named Jaguar, will fill this role. It will also include a Mexican binder and Nicaraguan filler. Fusco says 80% of the blend comes from tobaccos he is growing on El Mago’s own farms.  Jaguar comes in one size – a 6 x 50 Toro presented in tubes. Pricing is $17.00 per cigar.

Miami Beach Sweets

Fusco described this as a new brand of flavored cigars being distributed by El Mago. The cigars are produced at the MGE Cigars Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. These come in four flavors: Cognac, Vanilla, Chocolate, and Grape. All of the cigars come in a 6 x 44 Corona size.
