PCA 2025 My Father Cigars
PCA 2025 My Father Cigars

My Father Cigars celebrated two significant milestones at the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show. First, the company introduced its first Honduran-made cigar, the My Father Blue. This new cigar will be produced at the Garcias’ new factory in Honduras and features tobacco grown on the Garcia family farms in the country.

Secondly, the Don Pepin Garcia brand is also marking a special milestone, celebrating 20 years since one of the company’s oldest lines was launched. As always, the products will be showcased in one of the most exquisite booths at the 2025 PCA Trade Show.

My Father Blue

The blue comes from the blue found in Honduras’s flag.  The Honduran tobaccos are Corojo and Criollo and come from Finca La Opulencia, the Garcias’ farm in Honduras. The cigar itself is finished with a Connecticut Broadleaf Rosado wrapper.

My  Father Blue comes in four sizes – each in 20-count boxes.

  • Petite Robusto: 4 1/2 x 50 (SRP $9.00)
  • Robusto: 5 1/4 x 52 (SRP $10.50)
  • Toro: 6 x 54 (SRP $12.00)
  • Toro Gordo: 6 x 60 (SRP $13.00)

Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ 20th Anniversary Limited Edition

As mentioned, this year is the 20th Anniversary of Series JJ. Series JJ was released as a tribute cigar by Don Pepin Garcia for his children, Jaime and Janny.  The 20th Anniversary is a new blend. It’s a Nicaraguan puro that comes in 17-count commemorative boxes. Each box contains 16 Toro (6 1/2 x 52) cigars and 1 Salomon (7 1/4 x 57) cigar. A total of 2,500 numbered boxes were produced.

There is a slight difference between the two cigars. The Toro size uses shade-grown Corojo ’99 Rosado wrapper, while the Salomon uses shade-grown Corojo ’99 Rosado Oscuro wrapper. The wrappers are grown on the Garcias’ Las Lometas farm in Nicaragua. The blend also includes Pelo de Oro, which the Garcias have traditionally used on their limited edition releases. Pricing comes in at $374.00 SRP per box, with each of the 17 cigars priced at $22.00 SRP.
