Nomad Cigar Company has launched its first lancero.  The Nomad Connecticut Fuerte Lancero was officially launched at Manyunk Cigar Lounge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on September 18th.  The Connecticut Fuerte Lancero becomes the sixth vitola in the Connecticut Fuerte line.

Nomad Cigar Company owner Fred Rewey has been hinting for some time that a lancero would be added to his line.  Back in March, Rewey took a limited number of the Connecticut Fuerte Lancero along with a lancero in the Nomad Classic line to the DC Tweet-Up cigar event.  Both the Connecticut Fuerte and Nomad Classic are the company’s two Dominican made cigars.

Back in March, Nomad introduced the Nomad Connecticut Fuerte. It became the company’s third core line, and second line to be made in the Dominican Republic. It was originally introduced in four sizes. A fifth size, a belicoso was added on the eve of the 2014 IPCPR Trade Show.  The Nomad Connecticut Fuerte Robusto scored a 91 back in May.
