7-20-4 Cigars owner Kurt Kendall was an in-studio guest on Episode 134 of our Stogie Geeks Show and made a couple of first time announcements of some upcoming line extensions.  Kendall has said plans are underway to introduce a Club Perfecto to his original 7-20-4 line as well as a “Dog Walker” size to his latest line, the 7-20-4 Factory 57 line.

“We’re coming out with a Club Perfecto for the original blend,” said Kendall on Stogie Geeks, “It tends to be a little bit richer, fuller-bodied old styled perfecto tapered on both ends.”  Kendall also mentioned the perfecto will be about a 5 x 52 and commented how the tapering really changes the profile.   The original blend, aka “7-20-4” features a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, Costa Rican binder, and  combination of fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, and Colombia.

Kendall also revealed that the popular Dog Walker size in his portfolio is coming to the new 7-20-4 Factory 57 line.  This is a 4 1/4 x 40 petit corona that is available in the 7-20-4 and the 7-20-4 Hustler lines.  Kendall mentioned the packaging of the Dog Walker will be changing from 5 packs in 20 count boxes to 30 count boxes.

The Dog Walker will become the sixth vitola in 7-20-4 Factory 57 line. The name refers to the tax designation to the original factory.  The blend features a triple fermented Nicaraguan Jalapa Habano, a Costa Rican binder, and a combination of fillers from Nicaragua, Honduras, Mexico, and Colombia.  The cigar was launched at the IPCPR Trade Show.  Up until this point Kendall has said it has been a limited run, but Kendall says they are getting ready for another production run.
