At the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show, La Palina Cigars will introduce the La Palina Red Label line. The La Palina Red Label will become the third regular production line being made at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic. Information on this announcement was first reported by Cigar Aficionado and later confirmed by La Palina on social media.
The La Palina Red Label joins the La Palina Black Label and La Palina Classic as cigars being made at PDR Cigars. The Red Label line is seen as a sibling line to the La Palina Black Label. It is being produced in the same four sizes, and features red coloring packaging using the design from the Black Label. The blend of the Red Label is very different. In fact, the Red Label is being positioned as a much lighter cigar than the very full Black Label.
The 2015 IPCPR Trade Show will be a busy one for Bill Paley’s company. In addition to the launch of the La Palina Red Label, the company will re-launch the La Palina Family Series Miami and will make available 1,000 boxes of the La Palina Goldie Laguito Robusto Extra the first day of the show.
