CLE Cigars has announced the availability of the Eiroa First 20 Years cigar. This is a cigar that was showcased at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show.  The Eiroa First 20 years pays homage to company founder Christian Eiroa’s 20th year in the cigar industry.

The cigar is a Honduran puro with tobacco grown in the Jamastran Valley by Christian’s father Julio Eiroa.  The cigar features binder and filler from a seed that has not been used in 50 years.  Julio grew this other and gifted it to Christian to commemorate his 20 years in the cigar business.  The cigars are being produced at CLE’s Aladino factory in Honduras.

In a press release, Christian Eiroa commented, “I was over whelmed with emotion when my father gave me this gift. It truly is something wonderful and special. I am so excited for everyone to try this cigar.”

While pre-orders were taken at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show, the company told retailers it would be some time before the cigar would ship as Christian wanted to make sure the cigars were perfect before shipping.

There will be four box-pressed sizes: 6 x 46 Prensado (SRP $12.00), 5 x 50 (SRP $12.00), 6 x 54 (SRP $13.00), and 6 x 60 (SRP $14.00).  Each of the four sizes are packaged in 20 count boxes.  The cigars are wrapped in tissue paper – something Christian Eiroa informed Stogie Geeks is something he prefers over cellophane to protect the cigars.

Eiroa First 20 Years becomes the third line under CLE’s Eiroa brand joining the Eiroa and Eiroa CBT Maduro.
