The Cigar Media Association today announced its second annual Cigar Media Association Industry Awards. The organization instituted the Awards last year and it marked the first collaborative effort awards process among various brands of the cigar media. The Cigar Media Association will announce the winners on January 22nd, 2016.
For 2015, Warped Cigars led the way with three nominations, including two for Cigar of the Year and one for Brand of the Year.

All six of these cigars are first time Cigar of the Year nominees from their respective companies. For 2014, Illusione Cigars’ Fume D’Amour was the winner.

Not sure I understand… you ARE Cigar Coop, and you ARE Cigar Media Association… So let me get this straight: Your giving yourself an award? That’s a pretty nice accomplishment!
I don’t know where you got that information from (but I’d like to know), but you are incorrect. Cigar Coop does have a seat on the board. We do not own the Cigar Media Association.

And in regards to your second point… your link gives me a list of cigars, yet your articles says “We at Cigar Coop are proud to have received a nomination for online media member of the year for the second year in a row” – Cigar-Coop is William Cooper… William Cooper is on the board of directors… What am I missing?
And, according to your press release “This morning a group of online media members announced the establishment of the Cigar Media Association, Inc. The association was established and incorporated in December of 2013, and documents of the association were drafted by the seven founding members.
