Morphine, Black Label Trading Company’s annual limited production release, is returning for 2017. Today, Black Label Trading Company announced the Morphine 2017 will be shipping to retailers on June 16th.
Like last year’s edition, the Morphine 2017 uses a San Andres Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder and Nicaraguan filler. As for the sizes, company founder James Brown decided to look at the past Morphine releases to select the sizes.
“Since this is our 4th vintage of Morphine, I decided to pick my favorite vitolas from the last three years. From the original 2014 release, I chose the Corona. From 2015, the short Robusto and from 2016, the Lancero. The 2017 vintage is extremely rich and complex. It’s bold, full-bodied and incredibly balanced. The depth and complexity of flavors that come through make it a very special blend,” commented Brown in a press release.
