Davidoff’s Discovery (Black Label) Pillar will see the addition of a new limited edition vitola. The company announced a new 4 x 56 Gran Torpedo will be made available for the Davidoff Nicaragua, Davidoff Escurio, and Davidoff Yamasá lines. Davidoff says the new line extensions will ship this month.
The Davidoff Nicaragua, is the Nicaraguan puro that started the Discovery Pillar. Like the rest of the Davidoff Nicaragua line, the Gran Torpedo is highlighted by the Nicaraguan Rosado wrapper.
The Davidoff Escurio, the blend that pays homage to Brazilian tobacco. Like the rest of Escurio, the Gran Torpedo features a Habano Ecuador wrapper over a Brazilian Cubra binder and a filler consisting of Brazilian and Dominican tobaccos.
Finally, Davidoff Yamasá, which also was introduced in 2016 showcases Davidoff tobacco from the Yamasá region. Like the rest of the Yamasá line, the blend has a wrapper and binder from Yamasá as well as well as a Nicaraguan and Dominican tobacco in the filler.
Davidoff has also announced it has added a Robusto Tubo offering to the Yamasá line. At a glance here is a look at the Davidoff Nicaragua, Escurio, and Yamasá lines.
