One of Room101’s most popular lines is making a return. Last week, Room101 owner Matt Booth announced The Big Payback Connecticut would be making a return to his portfolio. The line features a new blend and a new factory Room101 is working with. Information of the release was first reported by Cigar Aficionado.

The Big Payback Connecticut was first released in 2016. It was the last major line released by Booth when he was still working with Davidoff for production and distribution. At the time The Big Payback Connecticut was being produced at the Camacho factory in Honduras. For the 2020 iteration, The Big Payback Connecticut will be made at the Joya de Nicaragua – marking the first time Booth is working with that factory.

The blend for the 2020 iteration of The Big Payback Connecticut still features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, but will now use all Nicaraguan tobaccos for the binder. The cigars will be available in three sizes: Robusto (5 1/4 x 50); Toro (6 x 54); and Gordo (6 x 60). All three sizes will be available in 20 and 40-count boxes. Pricing will be in the $6.50 to $7.50 range.

The Big Payback Connecticut joins The Big Payback Maduro which was introduced last year. The Maduro version comes from General Cigar’s HATSA factory.
