At the 2021 Premium Cigar Association Trade Show, Oveja Negra Brands showed off a third size in its limited production Emilio LJZ line in the form of a 6 1/2 x 42 Lonsdale.
Emilio Cigars is a brand that was founded by Scott Zucca over a decade ago. Several years ago, James Brown joined forces with Zucca for both distribution and production on the Emilio brand, and eventually Emilio was brought in under the Oveja Negra Brands umbrella. As for LJZ, it pays tribute to Louis J. Zucca, Scott’s grandfather.
The Limited Edition uses a modified blend including using two wrappers (Nicaraguan Habano and Sun Grown). The remainder of the blend features a Nicaraguan Habano and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. In addition to the Lonsdale, there is a Toro and Robusto offering. All three sizes are presented in 20-count boxes.
