On the November 18, 2022 edition of Cigar Dojo’s Smoke Night Live, Drew Estate’s Jack Heyer announced two Cigar Dojo releases from Drew Estate. First up, it was announced there will be a new Undercrown Maduro to commemorate the Cigar Dojo’s 10th anniversary. Second, the Undercrown Sun Grown Dogma is making what could be a last return for some time.

The Undercrown Dogma Maduro was first released in 2014 as a small batch limited production sold initially through Smoke Inn. It’s a 6 x 56 Box Pressed Gran Toro that features a San Andres Mexican wrapper, Connecticut Stalk Cut Habano binder, and a combination of Nicaraguan and Brazilian Mata Fina filler. Dogma is based off the Undercrown Corona ¡Viva!, a slightly tweaked version of the original Undercrown line. In 2018, the cigar returned as an annual release for Drew Estate.

According to Jack Heyer, the Undercrown Dogma 10th Anniversary is another tweaked blend, but it will come in a 6 x 46 box-pressed belicoso. The cigars will come in a ten-count box with each cigar priced at $11.70. The cigar was described as a one-time limited release for Cigar Dojo’s ten year anniversary with a total of 2,500 boxes produced.

Meanwhile, the Undercrown Dogma Sun Grown was first introduced in 2020. It is a 5 x 54 box-pressed robusto that features a bolder profile than the original Undercrown Sun Grown. The cigar features an Ecuadorian Sumatra Sun Grown wrapper, a Connecticut River Valley Stalk Cut/Cured Sun Grown Habano binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan fillers. According to Heyer, this could be last time we see the Undercrown Dogma Sun Grown for quite a while. This is because of the recent announcement that the Undercrown Sun Grown line is coming out of production for the time being. The Undercrown Dogma Sun Grown will be packaged in 24-count boxes.

Heyer says both cigars will launch at an event at Smoke Inn’s Boynton Beach store on December 9th, and both cigars (which will be Drew Diplomat exclusives) will be arriving on shelves mid-December.
