Casa de Montecristo has announced it will be offering an exclusive size of the popular Oliva Serie V Melanio line in the form of a 5 x 54 Double Robusto. While the core line of the Serie V Melanio line is box-pressed, the Casa de Montecristo Exclusive will be one of the few times the blend has been offered in a Double Robusto.

“We are continuously looking for quality premium products that can be found nowhere else, to offer Casa de Montecristo’s adult clientele,” says Brad Winstead, CEO of Casa de Montecristo. “We are thrilled to have this opportunity to partner with Oliva and offer our guests an exclusive size from Oliva’s most prestigious line.”

Oliva Cigar Company first began offering a parejo version of the Serie V Melanio for the European market. In 2021, Oliva created the Oliva Serie V Melanio JR 50th for Casa de Montecristo’s sister company JR Cigars’ 50th anniversary. The JR 50th was also a rounded cigar, but was a 6 x 50 Toro. Oliva has produced all of the Serie V Melanio rounded cigars on a limited basis.

The Oliva Serie V Casa de Montecristo is hand rolled at Tabacalera Oliva de Nicaragua S.A. It features an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers. It is presented in boxes of ten with pricing at $11.75 per cigar.
