At Total Product Expo (TPE) in Las Vegas, Nevada, Gurkha Cigas unveiled a third blend under its popular Gurkha Ghost line, the Gurkha Ghost Connecticut.
“We feel that the Gurkha Ghost Connecticut will be the perfect addition to our portfolio of Gurkha Ghost,” says Juan Lopez, Vice President of Sales, in a press release. “The original Ghost, housed in a black and silver box, has a Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper and is on the medium to full side. The Gurkha Ghost Gold, which comes in a gold box, is more medium body with the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. The Gurkha Ghost Connecticut is going to be a bit mild to medium with an Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper. We feel that this is the perfect way to complete the Ghost family bringing a Ghost for all palates!”
In addition to the Ecuadorian Connecticut Wrapper, Gurkha Ghost Connecticut features a Mexican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, and the U.S. Production comes from the PDR factory, which manufactures the other two blends in the Ghost line, the Ghost and Ghost Gold. The cigars will be available in three sizes: Shadow (5 x 52), Asura (6 x 54), and Exorcist (6 x 60). Each size is presented in a 21-count box. Pricing is set in the $8.00-$10.50 range.
The Gurkha Ghost Connecticut will have a consumer debut at The Great Smoke event in West Palm Beach on March 18th.
