The move is now official. Altadis USA has informed its retailers it will be participating in the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.
Last week, the Premium Cigar Association updated its floorplan, indicating Altadis USA would have booth space. There was no public confirmation from Altadis until today’s communication.
“As long-serving members of the Premium Cigar Association, we take pride in our strong support and investment in the trade and our ongoing commitment to providing best-in-class products, programs and customer service to support your business,” commented Paul Waller Head of Sales in an email to retailers.
The move officially brings a second of the “Big Four” back to the cigar industry’s annual signature trade show. In 2020, Altadis USA along with STG, Davidoff, and Drew Estate announced they were withdrawing from the PCA Trade Show. Last month STG announced it would be returning to the PCA Trade Show with Forged Cigar Company. While Drew Estate and Davidoff are not exhibiting at the 2023 PCA, two companies they handle sales and distribution for will be there in Joya de Nicaragua and Ferio Tego respectively.
