Scandinavian Tobacco Group is continuing to roll out releases for the upcoming Christmas and Holiday Season. Today, the company announced a limited edition, ultra-premium humidor offering for its Cohiba brand, the Cohiba Biometric Humidor.

The Biometric humidor is finished with red and black lacquer with metallic branding and hardware. It also can be opened either through a traditional key or using biometric technology by matching the user’s fingerprints.

Inside the humidor are 106 Toro-sized cigars across eight different blends, including:

The three Cohiba Spectre are the most ultra-premium releases from the General’s Cohiba brand and were all one-and-done releases. Cohiba Edición Diamonte and Cohiba XV (Extra Vigoroso) are releases that really haven’t been seen for the better part of a decade. Cohiba Silencio is an event-only offering, and Cohiba Red Dot Reserve is a blend exclusive to the Cohiba Biometric Humidor collection.

“The Biometric Humidor is the quintessential representation of the Cohiba brand. The humidor and the cigars within pay homage to the art of cigar making and assert Cohiba’s position as an alchemist of craftsmanship, style and extravagant taste in the handmade cigar space.,” commented Sean Williams, Cohiba Brand Ambassador.

The Cohiba Biometric Humidor carries a price point of $5,500.00. Only 130 units have been produced. The units will be available to ship to retailers in mid-November. General Cigar Company distributes Cohiba in the U.S. market.
