Micallef Black Soft Box-Pressed Toro

Micallef Cigars has announced an exclusive to Smoke Inn with the Micallef Black Soft Box-Pressed Toro. Produced at Micallef’s factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, this adds a 6 1/2 x 54 box-pressed offering into the Micallef Black line.

The Black Soft Box-Pressed Toro shares the same blend as the rest of the Black line. This includes a San Andres Maduro wrapper, Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, and all-Nicaraguan fillers. The soft box-pressed format features rounded edges as opposed to the sharp lines typical of a box-press.

“Working with the Micallef family and Dan Thompson has been a great experience. Their business philosophy and strong connection with their customer base first attracted me to the brand. The Micallef Black line was a breakthrough and sparked the success of the Micallef Color Series. Given the positive feedback from our community, we wanted to create something special exclusively for Smoke Inn. The Micallef Black Soft Box-Pressed Toro enhances the already excellent blend of the Black line, and I am eager to share it with Smoke Inn Socialites and customers across the country,” commented Smoke Inn owner Abe Dababneh in a press release.

“We are pleased to partner with Abe and Smoke Inn to introduce this exclusive vitola of Micallef Black. The remarkable response we’ve received for this blend is a testament to its quality. Working with Smoke Inn has been a positive experience, and we’re excited to offer their customers a truly unique addition to the Micallef portfolio,” added Dan Thompson, President of Micallef Cigars.

Micallef Black was introduced in 2023 as the first installment of Micallef’s Color Series. The Black Soft Box-Pressed Toro is the first box-pressed offering in the Color series. The Black Soft Box-Pressed Toro is said to offer a richly balanced smoking experience combining the strength and complexity of the original blend with the smoothness and refined construction of a box press.

Presented in ten count boxes, the Black Box-Pressed Toro is a limited offering. The cigar goes on sale exclusively at Smoke Inn stores on October 23, and through Smoke Inn’s online store at 11am that day. Pricing comes in at $9.00 per cigar or $90.00 per box.
