An Advent calendar counts down the days until Christmas. This tradition is believed to have originated with the German Lutherans. The calendar features moveable parts, such as flaps, doors, or pockets, that reveal a daily surprise. In 2021, Smoke Inn released its first Advent Calendar, where the “surprise” is a different cigar daily. For the first time since 2021, Smoke Inn has redesigned the package.
Today’s highlight is the Aladino Toro from JRE Tobacco Company, which is run by Julio and Justo Eiroa. The Aladino was one of the original lines introduced to the market by JRE. The blend features tobacco that the Eiroa family is well-known for—Authentic Corojo, which is grown on their family farms in Honduras.
