Artesano Del Tobacco is set to implement a price increase for its Viva La Vida. This is the first adjustment the company has made in six years. This change will take effect on April 15, 2025, following the 2025 PCA Trade Show in New Orleans.
Artesano Del Tobacco says the change is needed in response to rising production costs and inflationary pressures. The company will be increasing prices by just 5% on all Viva La Vida Classic Boxes and Bundles. Artesano Del Tobacco says the price change does not impact the company’s other lines including El Pulpo Cigars, and Viva La Vida’s 5 Years Anniversario cigars.
“This decision was not made lightly,” said Billy and Gus Fakih of Artesano Del Tobacco. “We understand the importance of cost stability for our consumers. However, rising production costs and maintaining the high quality and reliability that our customers expect from us necessitates this adjustment.”
