At the 2025 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, AJ Fernandez Cigars will introduce the Decenio, the sixth blend in the New World brand. The Decenio commemorates ten years of the New World brand, as “Decenio” is Spanish for ten years or a decade. Decenio was announced on the 2025 Prime Time Virtual Trade Expo.

Decenio is the first New World to use a Mexican San Andres wrapper. The blend also uses a Nicaraguan binder with fillers from Nicaragua and Honduras. The cigars come in three sizes: Robusto (5 1/2 x 54), Toro (6 1/2 x 54), and Gordo (6 x 58). Pricing ranges from $12.50 to -15.00 per cigar.

In a press release, Jadilah Fernandez said, “We’re very excited to release Decenio because New World is a staple of the AJ Fernandez Portfolio brands, and we wanted to honor its legacy. My dad strives to continually challenge what people expect from him while remaining true to himself and blending style, and we hope Decenio will become an instant classic for fans of AJ Fernandez.”

New World was first released in 2014 with the Oscuro blend. It arguably has become the most successful brand in the AJ Fernandez Cigars portfolio.
