Last month Duran Cigars officially announced its new Connecticut Shade cigar, the Duran Azan Blue Connecticut. This week, the cigar was officially launched at the 2016 IPCPR Trade Show.

Azan Connecticut Blue becomes the fourth blend under Duran Cigars’ Azan line. The cigar is the first Connecticut Shade cigar in the Duran Cigars’ portfolio. The cigar features a Ecuadorian grown Connecticut seed wrapper grown on owner Roberto Pelayo Duran’s Fincas Azan plantation in Ecuador. The cigar is wrapped around a Nicaraguan binder and filler. The cigar is also made at the company’s Nicatabaco SA facility in Esteli, Nicaragua.

The cigars are available in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50, SRP $7.00), Campana (Torpedo 6 x 52, SRP $7.00), and Toros de Luxe (6 1/2 x 54, SRP $8.00)
