John Drew Brands, the spirits startup venture by Drew Estate President Jonathan Drew has installed a new leadership team.
The company was founded in 2016 with the goal of becoming “an authentic lifestyle company”, initially focusing on the development of alcoholic beverage brands.
The leadership team includes:
- Jonathan Drew, CEO
- Nancy Berkowitz, President
- Steve Chernoff, National Sales Manager
- Frank Moreno, National Director of Brand Development
- Joey Reichenbach, Marketing
- Samuel Morales, Marketing
For marketing, John Drew Brands will partner with Joey Reichenbach, Creative Director of Marketing at Drew Estate, and Sam Morales, Drew Estates’ Director of Marketing. Both Reichenbach and Morales will also continue in their current roles at Drew Estate.
Drew will continue in his role as President of Drew Estate, reporting to Drew Estate CEO Glenn C. Wolfson, while simultaneously taking on the role of CEO of John Drew Brands. In a press release announcing the new leadership team Drew stated, “I am uber amped to welcome Nancy, Steve, and Frank to the John Drew Brands Family. John Drew Brands President Nancy Berkowitz has more than thirty-five years of experience in the spirits industry. Nancy has held senior positions in sales management and marketing for such companies as Gallo Wine, United Liquors, Renfield Importers, Marie Brizard USA, Ste. Michelle Estates and Dimensional Insight. “It is a pleasure to be a part of the John Drew Brands team, creating new and exciting products and opportunities in the beverage alcohol industry”, she says.
National Sales Manager Steve Chernoff began his career at Continental Distributing in Chicago in 1981 and has over thirty-five years of experience in all facets of the industry. Steve served as the Marketing Director at Distinctive Wines in Chicago for three years and since 2009 has been President of 360 Proof Wine & Spirit Brokers. Frank Moreno, the new National Director of Brand Development, is a ten-year marketing veteran in the Beverage Alcohol and Hospitality industries, focusing on experiential event creation, product development, and key marketing initiatives.
Sam Morales will specialize in consumer engagement, digital marketing, advertising, experiential marketing, and brand strategy, while Joey Reichenbach will focus on creative direction, merchandising, packaging, advertising, and product development.
