The Crux Limitada PB5 is making a return. Today Crux Cigar Company announced that the PB5, the company’s first limited edition cigar, will have a third release. Officially titled the Crux PB5 Third Release, the cigar will be made available for order at the 2017 IPCPR Trade Show.
The PB5 was unveiled at 2015 IPCPR Trade Show and made its way to retailers in 2016. The second release of the PB5 was put out earlier this year. The Crux Limitada PB5 Third Release features the same blend as the first two releases. This is highlighted by a Nicaraguan Engañoso wrapper aged for ten years. Crux acquired a limited supply of this wrapper back in 2012. This was two years before Crux Cigar Company was launched and by that point, the tobacco had been aging seven years.
“We are humbled by the response we have received for the PB5, and will continue to develop unique limited release blends as part of our overall effort of building premium cigars,” said Crux Cigars owner Jeff Haugen.
Consistent with the first two editions, the Crux PB5 Limitada Third Release will be in a single 5 3/4 x 54 vitola with a Cuban Box Pressed finish. The cigar will be available in ten-count boxes. Production for the Third Release will be increased and it is anticipated that 750 to 1,000 boxes will be produced.
