For the third time in less than a year, Cigar Aficionado’s Big Smoke Meets WhiskyFest has been postponed. The event is now rescheduled for October 30th, 2021. While the COVID-19 pandemic was not given as the reason, it is most likely why the event had to be postponed yet again.
Big Smoke Meets WhiskyFest had been scheduled for April 3, 2020 and last year the event was rescheduled to October 31, 2020, when it would eventually be cancelled. This year, the event had been slated for April 17, 2021. All of the events had been scheduled for at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
COVID-19 wiped out most consumer and trade show events for 2020. In addition to the Big Smoke event being pushed out, 2021 year has seen the cancellation of Puro Sabor, ProCigar, Habanos Festival, TAA Convention, while the in-person Great Smoke will be replaced by a virtual event.
