La Flor Dominicana will once again be releasing a pair of exclusive cigars for the Tobacconists Association of America (TAA). Known as La Flor Dominicana The Golden Salomon, it’s an offering that will be made in both Natural and Maduro wrapper options.

The Golden Salomon is based off the La Flor Dominicana’s Golden Anniversary blend, a release done in 2018 for the TAA to commemorate the organization’s 50th anniversary. The Golden Anniversary was released in a box-pressed torpedo. Since then the company’s TAA releases have been based on the blend with the subsequent releases offered in Natural and Maduro wrappers.  This included the La Flor Dominicana TAA 50th Oro Segunda Edición (box-pressed toro) and the long awaited La Flor Dominicana TAA 50th Oro Tercera Edición (box pressed Chisel cap).

The Golden Salomon will feature a Nicaraguan Sun Grown wrapper for the Natural and a Connecticut Broadleaf for the Maduro. Both come in a 7 x 64 Salomon size.  The Golden Salomon is the fourth release using the 2018 Golden Anniversary blend. La Flor Dominicana Vice President Jonathan Carey had informed Cigar Coop, that this will be the final year for the Golden Anniversary blend for The TAA and the company will introduce a different offering for the 2023 TAA Exclusive Series.
