C.L.E. Cigar Company has begun shipping its Asylum 867 line. This line under Asylum was announced just before the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.

The Asylum 867 line is highlighted by what C.L.E. Cigar Company calls “hard to find exotic tobaccos.” There are three blends in the 867 line: Auntie, Midnight Oil, and Zero. These three lines were previously branded as Deadwood Tobacco Chasing the Dragon but were changed to the Asylum branding. The blend information, as well as the specific “exotic tobaccos,” have not been disclosed. The blends and sizes of the three cigars in the Asylum 867 line remain the same as when they were branded with Deadwood.

In a press release, Tom Lazuka, C.L.E. Cigar Company Vice President of sales and co-founder of Asylum Cigars, stated, “Asylum Cigars has served as the cigar industry’s rebel child and Asylum 867 allows us to further cement that sentiment. Asylum 867 has allowed us to experiment with various strains of exotic tobacco that were blended to create a truly unique smoking experience. The aromatic flavors bring forth a new dimension to Asylum Cigars.”
