Micallef Cigars has announced details about Micallef Blue, the long-awaited success of Micallef Black. The cigar will officially launch at the 2024 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show.
“Black quickly became a humidor staple for consumers and brick-and-mortar partners for its unparalleled quality at a compelling price point. Continuing this legacy, Blue offers a unique blend designed to captivate and satisfy the palate without compromising quality or affordability,” said Micallef Cigars in a press release.
The Micallef Blue is described as a medium-bodied cigar with an Old World feel. The blend features a San Andrés Sumatra wrapper over an Ecuadorian Habano binder. The fillers are from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Packaged in 25-count boxes, Blue is offered in two sizes: Robusto and Toro. The company is keeping pricing in the $7.00 to $8.00 range.
“Following the success of Micallef Black, our job is to exceed expectations,” said Dan Thompson, President of Micallef Cigars. “The Micallef Blue is a slightly sweet San Andrés Sumatra, praised by those who enjoyed it early—another premium experience at an unbeatable pocket-friendly price.”
The PCA Trade Show opens on March 23, 2024, in Las Vegas. Micallef will begin shipping the Blue on March 25.
