Eladio Diaz Cigars, the brand owned by legendary blender Eladio Diaz, is releasing its first regular production cigar, Before & After. Arango Cigar Company will distribute it in the U.S. market. It recently debuted at the 2024 PCA Trade Show.
Diaz has been in the tobacco and cigar industry for over 50 years. He is best known for his tenure working at Davidoff Cigars. In 2021, he opened his own factory, Tabacalera Diaz Cabrera. Most of the factory’s focus was on private labels and third-party cigars. Now Diaz is set to release Before & After as the first regular production.
The name is a nod to Diaz’s legacy in the cigar business and plans to carry that legacy into the future.
The Eladio Diaz Before & After features an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, a Dominican Habano 2000 binder, and all Dominican fillers. It will be offered in three sizes in 20-count boxes.
While Before & After is the first regular production release, Arango distributed the limited-edition cigar Eladio Diaz 70 in November 2023. Arango handles the U.S. distribution for Eladio Diaz Cigars. Kopp does the distribution in Europe and the brand plans to expand into Asia.
