For the eighth year in a row, CLE Cigar Company will be participating in the Tobacconists Association of America (TAA) Exclusive Series. For 2022, CLE will release a TAA Exclusive under its Asylum brand for the first time since 2017.  The cigar will feature Asylum’s signature Asylum 13 brand in co-owner Christian Eiroa’s signature size, the 11/18.

The Asylum 13 is a Nicaraguan puro. The 11/18 is a size that can be traced back to Eiroa’s days at Camacho Cigars. It is a figurado shape named for the birth date of Eiroa’s mother. Eiroa brought the 11/18 size over to CLE when he founded the company in 2021. 11/18 is a figurado that is thicker in the middle and tapered toward the ends. The TAA website is reporting that 500 25-count boxes will be produced with pricing set at $9.00 per cigar
