General Cigar Company has announced a 4 1/2 x 60 Short Gordo line extension to its Punch Knuckle Buster Habano line known as the Stubby. The new size will ship to retailers in April 2023.

The Punch Knuckle Buster Habano is a value-priced line introduced in 2020. Last year, a companion line, the Punch Knuckle Buster Maduro, was introduced. At this time, the Stubby is being added to the Knuckle Buster Habano line only.

Produced at Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG)’s HATSA factory in Honduras, the Punch Knuckle Buster Habano is a Nicaraguan Habano-forward blend with Nicaragua tobaccos in all three components of the cigar. The Stubby will be presented in 20-count boxes with pricing set at $5.39 per cigar.

Punch Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby packs a punch…or more like a jab. The Stubby delivers what fans loved about Knuckle Buster Habano in a new ‘stubby” size. And since we mentioned wrestling, Knuckle Buster Habano Stubby is like the Iron Shiek’s Camel Clutch – it’s bold, it’s complex and it wraps up at just the right time,” said John Hakim, brand manager for Punch in a press release.
